Crash Fixes & Patch Notes
Update first. Patch 1.0.9 (October 30, 2026) fixed the big launch soft-locks: a sticky title screen, buttons locked after Stella calls, instant deaths on slide, controller sprint lock-out, the second Bronto hunt’s invisible wall, and the fourth fuse in the Allo hunt.
Try these first
- Update the game to 1.0.9 or later and restart it.
- Reload the checkpoint rather than the whole level if you are stuck on an object or a door.
- Verify the files on Steam: right-click the game › Properties › Installed Files › Verify integrity.
- Check you meet the minimum spec: GTX 1050 2 GB / RX 560 2 GB, 6 GB RAM, Windows 10 64-bit. See PC requirements.
- Update your GPU driver if the game crashes on launch or during level loads.
Steps 2–5 are standard PC troubleshooting, not developer instructions.
Common soft-locks and what fixes them
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| A correct keypad code is rejected | Check the story gate and the repair first. See when a code doesn’t work. |
| Buttons stop responding after a Stella call | Fixed in 1.0.9. Update, then reload. |
| Stuck on nothing after boulders fall (Level 2) | Fixed in 1.0.9: invisible collider in the second Bronto hunt. |
| Only three of four fuses count (Level 3) | Fixed in 1.0.9. Also check the Shed key fuse: all four fuse spots. |
| Theater door stays shut (Level 1) | Not a bug: press the projector’s red button after the fuse repair. |
| Gift shop floodlights won’t stay on | Not a bug: fit the fuses, connect the power on top of all three pillars, then hold each switch. |
Patch notes
Version 1.0.9 · October 30, 2026
- Title screen could “stick” into gameplay and soft-lock progression
- A call with Stella could lock buttons and break progression
- Players sometimes died immediately when entering a slide
- Controllers could get locked out of sprinting
- Invisible collider after boulders fall in the second Bronto hunt
- Players could move while sliding in one cutscene and fly off a cliff
- Not all four fuses worked in the second Allo hunt
- Several cases of levels not loading or unloading properly
The developers say they are already “sprinting hard on the next update”. We add each patch here when it ships.
